These terms govern your use of Live Local. Trust Local., the community-powered business and community directory operated by Genuine Futures CIC.

By using the website, creating an account, or listing an organisation, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

You may create or claim a listing only for a business, charity, community organisation or school you are authorised to represent.

Information must be accurate, current and suitable for public display. We may request changes, decline content, or remove a listing where information is misleading, unsafe, unlawful, discriminatory or outside the directory's purpose.

Free listings are free. Optional paid services are clearly identified before purchase. Paid membership never buys verification.

Verification badges follow a documented check. We may remove a badge where evidence expires or can no longer be supported.

You are responsible for content you submit. Do not post anything unlawful, defamatory, infringing, hateful, harassing, or that invades privacy.

Reviews must come from genuine first-hand experience. We may reject or remove fake, incentivised, abusive or unrelated reviews.

We do not publish photographs, names, quotes or stories involving young people without explicit consent and final approval.

Paid memberships and one-off services are processed through GoCardless. Prices and billing type are shown before checkout.

Recurring memberships can be cancelled from the member dashboard. Cancellation stops future payments; service access continues until the end of the paid period.

Refund and service-delivery questions should be raised through the Contact page so the team can review the individual order or membership.

The website design, logos, branding and original content belong to Genuine Futures CIC or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant us a licence to publish, edit and display it on the directory for the purposes of operating the platform.

We work to keep the directory accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from use of the website.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.

Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
